Civvy Street - Royal British Legion


CivvyStreet aims to provide support and mentoring for all those recently leaving, or about to leave, the forces who are looking for employment opportunities and a chance to redeploy the skills learned while serving.

CivvyStreet is for anyone who has served in the UK Armed Forces (regular or reserves). It is also for their widows, widowers, partners and dependants.

Careers Advice Service
Free and impartial careers, resettlement and funding advice to get you into the job of your choice.  The qualified Careers Guidance Counsellors give you solid, practical advice on finding a job and help you make the most of yourself to employers.

UK Armed Forces resettlement support services
This section provides you with information on education, retraining and job opportunities, as well as with practical matters like finance, housing and pensions.

Individual Circumstances
When you leave the Armed Forces you may face specific challenges depending on your personal situation.

UK Citizenship
Citizenship covers the knowledge, understanding and skills we need to live in our communities.

 Mentoring
The Royal British Legion's online pilot mentoring programme offers a new and easy way for service leavers and veterans to connect with mentors in the property and construction industry for career planning support, regardless of location.
